~time together~

This past Tuesday was Jessie’s turn to be the class leader. She was really excited, especially after sitting through Connor’s day. She picked out her snack (straweberries, grapes, raisins, and Big Bird juice) and decided she wanted to take  her pink PIG. When you squish his stomache he makes a “farty” noise and he has a button on his hand that makes him squeal like a pig. He is really fun.

She had a good day!

It had been so gloomy for almost two weeks straight…cold, rainy, gray, cloudy, dark…then the sun came out for three days.

So, when Drew got off work this past Tuesday and the kids came home from school, we decided to go to the park and spend time outside, as a family.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Drew took over with the camera almost the whole time and we just appreciated our time together.

Jessie decided she wanted to pout here. So I chased her around with my camera and told her I was going to show everybody “Pouty Jessie.” She thought that was funny and she tried to hide behind a tree.

but I caught her!

Then we decided to ride bikes. The park has flat ground…unlike our  house that is on a steep hill.

Drew brought his Harley and gave the kids rides around the park…they LOVE to ride daddy’s bike!

Then we came across a snake on the bike path. I wonder how many people jogged right over it…because the kids and I actually rode right past it and Drew called us back…he such a SNIPER.

I have no idea what kind it is, but it did not like us.

We arrived at the park around 3 pm and stayed until the sun started to go down.

It was a good day. I am so glad we decided to do this. It brought LOTS of SMILES from us all.
